LeverUP Academy offers students in their final years of study the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Salesforce ecosystem and decide on a career path that is right for them…
An IT company can work with students who are looking for a job after graduation and want to start a quality career if you want a win-win situation. We organized practical work for students from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb (EFZG) and Rochester Institute of Technology Croatia (RIT Croatia) as part of our LeverUP Academy during the summer months.
“Our” students got a chance to know each other through practice and make an informed decision about a CRM consulting career. We seem to have hit the nail on the head with the concept of LeverUP Academy, based on what we’ve heard from them.
What do the students themselves have to say?
(we collected answers from most of our student participants)
Matteo Legovich, EFZG:
My expectations were for an ordinary office job. Instead, what I found pleasantly surprising was the dynamism of the work and the positive working environment where everyone is encouraged and always willing to help. So far, I have mostly learned Pardot by applying “theory in practice” since I have worked on a project for a British HR platform. After a little research, trial and error, at the end of the day the project is solved, and a lot is learned in the process.
Florijan Komljenović, EFZG: Although I expected LeverUP to have a classic approach to business, it has a far more motivating and positive approach to working, where every day represents an opportunity for further personal and business development, and its people and colleagues are outstanding. LeverUP means constant progress and continuous knowledge growth in cloud computing.
Alen Kanceljak, EFZG: My goal is to learn new things and take on new challenges. Being a student majoring in managerial informatics, I wanted to become familiar with the IT world as soon as possible. LeverUP was the right decision for me. I enjoy working with a dynamic team, and I’m eager to learn more. So far, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge. The features in Salesforce itself include email templates, Engagement Studio, automated actions, and prospects.
Ivan Kajmak, EFZG: Being engaged at LeverUP was my first professional experience, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. In the company, I was most impressed by the friendly atmosphere, which is extremely important to me. I have also been able to work in Pardot and Salesforce core at LeverUP, where mentors are very patient and always ready to help. As a result, I was able to apply everything I learned to specific projects, with specific clients, within a short period of time.
Goran Crnčić, EFZG: I had no idea what LeverUP does when I applied for the student job, but I saw that the team was positive and loving what they did. When I started working here, I was surprised at how positive and relaxed the atmosphere is, and every day is a new chance to learn from the real world of business. At Leverup, it’s important to be able to adapt to new things, to have a desire to constantly learn, and to work as a team. In my first few months of student work, I was given the opportunity to participate in several projects that required work in different systems, but the constant support of the whole team made adjusting easier.
David Vitković, RIT Croatia: Despite not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by the office atmosphere. In addition to learning Salesforce core and Pardot, I strengthened my organizational skills. Without a doubt, my experience at LeverUP has been very useful.
